He is a graduate of Marquette University (1965) where he was a St. Thomas More

At 35, he was the youngest president of that organization in its history.

Disneyland: Wrongful death of a 34 year old man and severe facial disfigurement of his wife from the dislodgment of a metal cleat from Disney's Sailing Ship Columbia. This case, later named the "Columbia" incident, sparked a national debate on the safety of theme parks. Additionally, this matter brought about several theme park regulations into California law. $17,062,000: S. v. Federal Insurance Company (Chubb):
A fire insurance bad faith case in which a jury awarded $15,000,000 in punitive
